Min. Alcee Butler, Jr. Biography
Min. Butler was born in 1953 in Wesson, Mississippi to the parents of Deacon Alcee and Betty J. Butler. His parents relocated to Ohio when he was only 2 years old. Raised in Barberton, Oh, the calling on his life, at first, was ignored and although he didn’t want to believe it, God would not leave him alone.
Upon accepting his call he became an associate minister of the Greater Galilee Baptist Church in Barberton, Oh where Bishop Emmett Jason Lee is the pastor.
God has laid it upon Min. Butler’s heart to teach, preach and spread the Gospel of Christ and prepare God’s people for the return of His Son. Min. Butler is currently pursuing an Associate’s degree at Andersonville Theological Seminary in Atlanta, GA and continuing on at Atlantic Coast College and Seminary for dual major degrees for a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and a Master of Divinity.
Min. Butler is the loving father of 5 beautiful daughters and the second born of 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He currently resides in Barberton, OH and God has him currently unmarried to continue in his wilderness experience concerning the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of His Word, His Will and His Way.
